Nellcor® Infant disposable pulse oximeter sensor features our patented contour C-shape and cloth wrap to ensure that placement on the digit is easy and accurate. This allows one SpO2 sensor to travel with the patient from anesthesia induction through recovery to the PICU if necessary and provides the hospital with substantial cost savings. As a comparison, the tape on most other disposable oximeter sensors tears easily or loses its adhesiveness resulting in the need to replace it when reapplication is required.
